Anthony lives with his husband Jamil & their dog Rogue in Highland Park California. In June of 2016, they were living in Chinatown right outside of downtown Los Angeles when they visited a dog shelter to see if they connected with any dogs and if they were ready to add to their family. A week later a stray chihuahua mix puppy showed up on their apartment's front steps. She had a collar but no ID. After a week of no response to posted fliers , they decided she was sent to them. She chose them. They have been told she's a Terrier/chihuahua Mix and considering how hyper she always is, that makes sense.

As a Creative Director, Anthony is the one that obsesses over décor. His ideal style is a modern industrial including polished concrete, sharp angles, copper accents, and a bit minimalist. Jamil's style is more cozy-contemporary. For now, they have combined their styles with clean lines, greys, with copper and blue accents. Rogue is very low maintenance. They don't buy much for her except for toys and chicken free treats (as she's very allergic) she loves salmon/sweet potato treats.
For the last 6+ years, he has helped to build a Luxury Apparel Line base in Los Angeles. This year he left the 9-5 world and he is working full-time as a freelance Designer while he also grow his own brand, Badami & Co. This fall they plan to launch a men's underwear line made in Los Angeles in addition to Badami current selection of small leather accessories.

Rogue is now around 4 years old , She was 3 months when she found them . They named her Rogue, from the Marvel Comics' character. She has a similar white streak of hair on her head, sucks the life out of them lol , and was also a runaway.
She loves to chase her own tail, most of her toys only last a day or two normally before she destroys them, especially if they have a squeaker inside. they played too much tug of war while she was teething so now she has this very distinct lopsided overbite. they also bought her a fancy dress they wanted her to wear for some wedding photos. Once they put it on her she froze and wouldn't move. Their little tomboy HATED it.

The terrier side of her is sooooooo hyper. No matter who she is meeting, no matter where they go she is excited to see other people or dogs. So much so that she will run in place like she's on a treadmill while wearing a leash. She loves to run super fast at the park. Any time they let her off her leash she runs in huge circles fast like the wind!
One of Anthony’s favorite memories was her first bath. She was cold, wet, and covered in fleas. She shook so much but afterward, she and Anthony had an unbreakable bond that Jamil is still jealous of. She definitely made them more patient and kind. She can be very annoying and stubborn but she gives them both so much love when they come home you would swear she still remembers being abandoned as a puppy.
